IPC candidate Dr Kizza Besigye has addressed journalists this Saturday evening. He aid that there was massive rigging in the just concluded elections and that he will be meeting with other IPC members tomorrow and thereafter announce the next step.
Dr Besigye displayed ballot papers, which he said had been pre-ticked in favour of the incumbent, President Museveni.
He told journalists that the rigging of votes was on a much greater scale compared to the previous elections and that EC is falsifying election results.
According to him, the late arrival of voting materials in many areas was deliberately done to frustrate voters.
He also explained that this Saturday at 1pm, the IPC’s tallying system was brought down, by the government, he claimed.
