UGANDA PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ARE:
Incumbent President Yoweri Museveni in power since 1986, running on the ticket of the National Resistance Movement (NRM)
His big three challengers are:
Kizza Besigye (Inter-Party Cooperation, IPC),
Olara Otunnu (Uganda Peoples' Congress, UPC),
and Norbert Mao (Democratic Party, DP).
Four other candidates:
Jaberi Bidandi Ssali of Peoples progressive party (PPP),
Ms Bety Kamya of Uganda federal alliance (UFA),
pastor Abed Bwanika of People’s development party (PDP),
and independent Samuel Lubega.
