Uganda's elections free and fair according to the Uganda Human Rights Commission
Uganda Human Rights Commission has declared the 2011 presidential and parliamentary election free and fair. UHRC chairman, Mr Med Kaggwa, said the election was largely peaceful and calm.
“The Commission is so far satisfied with the way the elections have been conducted and we would like to commend the Electoral Commission, police, security agencies and all Ugandans at large,” Mr Kaggwa said.
